Unfortunately only stayed at the hotel for one night rather than two as British Airways cancelled our flight at the last moment! The hotel understood our plight and only charged us one night. The desk staff were great and checked us in without fuss at the end of what was a stressful day. Room was good but without much of a view as it was at the back of the hotel, but who seriously spends much time staring out a window. Special thanks to the kitchen staff for a great breakfast, especially Anna, who was attentive and engaging.

Thin walls

Rooms are very noise cause walls are thin. Every time someone closes a door you hear it. Reception wasn’t very polite when we first came to the hotel in the morning. No option to check in early and we had to carry our luggage ourselves to the storage room. (Wasn’t heavy/just lazy staff) Check in employe was nice. Room was ok… Bath wasn’t too clean (stains on the ceiling) Paper bag with trash in front of the room door. Wasn’t removed by housekeeping which was on the floor at checkin time. Bag was removed by housekeeping after we told the reception. -> no further question at check out though we said stay was “only ok”
