Wedding Reception

My wife and I felt we should write a review as we were so happy with the day’s events at the Orchard Ridge Country Club.

On October 7th, 2023, we held my daughter’s wedding reception at the Orchard Ridge Country Club. Total attendance was 176.  My wife and daughter had planned this special occasion for a year prior and we're so excited that the day had finally come. Three separate times the general manager and wedding coordinator both sat down with us, reviewed our package options, food tasting options, and had a good discussion on the layout plans for that day.   They explained that they had put in place a new staff from top to bottom in the past year.  They assured us that their objective was to exceed our expectations.  We felt very comfortable that they would do their best, but in the back of our minds we were thinking what could go wrong? Well with a big sigh of relief, we had an incredible time at the Orchard Ridge Country Club!  They exceeded our expectations!  I was delighted, my wife was delighted, my daughter was delighted… and yes, the groom was delighted!   We received so many compliments from family and friends at the wedding reception and days after. Many of our guests belonged to other Country Clubs and they were impressed! From the building’s spacious and flowing layout, good sized tables for seating arrangements, beautifully manicured golf course views from the spacious balcony.  It was also nice to step out on the balcony to cool off from dancing and get a breath of fresh air.   The building and restrooms were impeccably clean! They had plenty of help / staff on the floor, in the kitchen, and behind the bar.  Their staff were friendly, professional, dressed appropriately (in uniform) and immediately responded to any request that my wife or I had.  Like, moving a table a bit, adjusting lights, getting the microphone, moving the cake table, etc....

The greeting bar had plenty of room for a crowd, well stocked, and many bartenders to keep the drinks flowing and the line very short. There was also a table bar in the greeting room and on the balcony which also kept the drinks flowing with no lines. My daughter picked out the signature drinks which tasted great.  Those were so good that most people stuck to those signature drinks all night.

The appetizers were incredibly tasty and presented well.  We received many compliments on the scallops wrapped in beacon.  We also had the chicken cordon blue and teriyaki meat balls, which we liked them all.  There were plenty of appetizers to go around as our guests were hungry from a 2-hour photo break after the church ceremony.

The meals were outstanding!  I cannot say how tasty and pleasing to the eye the dinner plates were. The plates were promptly served to our tables with what each person ordered with no mistakes.  We choose from a large menu to have: Filet mignon or breast of chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, broccolini, salad, and bread. I had filet mignon.  I will say it again, it was outstanding!  I received so many compliments on the food.  My wife had the chicken and she loved it!  The chief and his staff did such an amazing job of surpassing our expectations on dinner plates eye appeal, flavor, timing, and portions.  Not to mention hitting it out of the park with the appetizers.

The DJ also, mentioned how helpful and accommodating they Orchard Ridge Country Club staff was.  That was nice to hear, because we are a dancing crowd and needed the DJ at his best.

From the layout, staff support, and amazing food, my wife and I thank the Orchard Ridge County Club for providing such a wonderful experience!

Orchard Ridge was the perfect location for our wedding and reception in September! Tricia was a huge help in setting up for our big day! The food was amazing, and you can't beat the view from the veranda and all the beautiful colors during the fall either! Thank you everyone for helping to make our day so special!

We are so happy that we chose Orchard Ridge for our wedding. Everyone was so helpful as we went through the planning process, and the day of the wedding went incredibly smoothly with Orchard Ridge's help. The location is beautiful in the summer, with huge windows overlooking colorful flowers and the golf course. The food is also amazing. We had a wonderful time!
