The Spertus Institute in Chicago's South Loop provides meeting space that goes beyond the typical Hotel meeting space. The building itself is ultra-modern with clean, white lines inside and glass anc chrome outside. It stands out on the block as distinctive and impressive as a statement of alternative to your meeting attendees. Walking in through the secure, glass doors, you are greeted by security guards who escort you into the cavernous lobby. The lobby is elegant and welcoming. The gift shop is behind glass walls and bustling with color that light up the lobby, providing an immediate atmosphere of sophistication and sincerity. Inside, there is an amphitheatre as well as classrooms equipped with all the modern technological conveniences that make meetings easy and effective. Interactive podiums into which both a Mac and Windows laptops connect with ease include built-in speakers, projectors and screens. Seats are comfortable even for long meetings and facilities are easily accessible and match the style and quality of the building. The surrounding area is bustling with four hotels of varying costs and amenities within a two or three block walk as well as restaurants and dining options. Alternatively, the institute itself will cater your event within certain limitations. Of course, if your attendees are traveling by CTA, there are many bus routes that stop at the corner of Michigan and Balboa as well as the Harrison Red Line just a two-block walk away.
