The RVA Event Space, is approximately 6,000 sf of space and holds up to 400 in the event space, with room for an additional 300 people with use of the outdoor patio. The converted warehouse is a flexible space and can be set up in banquet, reception, or theater style. The space was once a part of a former cardboard manufacturing plant and warehouse, and was converted to an event space in 2003.
The maximum capacity to sit-down events at Plant Zero is 350 people. The maximum capacity for cocktail-style events is 400. There is a parking lot at the entrance as well as street parking. Included with the basic space are tables and chairs. Add-ons that can be provided include staging, event lighting, audio, lecterns, curtains, video projection. Dogs are allowed.
Originally opened in 1927 as a Shriners auditorium, the Altria Theater has recently undergone major renovations to return it to the showpiece it once was. Minaret-like structures flank the central pointed arch entryway. The Grand Ballroom and VIP Lounges, along with various lobbies, lounges and window niches, feature arabesque or geometric tile work in rich Middle Eastern colors.
