About Teatro Restaurant

Celebrating 25 years in 2018, Teatro Restaurant opened its doors in 1993 to a smaller and relatively quiet downtown Calgary. Our philosophy was to provide quality seasonal cuisine, a fine offering of properly cellared wine and knowledgeable, attentive service. Since our opening, Calgary has experienced a lot of change; Teatro's philosophy has remained the same. Teatro is open seven nights a week for dinner with lunch service Monday to Friday. Italian for 'theatre', Teatro is located on Olympic Plaza in Calgary's downtown theatre district and is housed in the historic Dominion Bank Building built in 1911. Serving Contemporary Mediterranean Cuisine strongly rooted in Italian tradition, paired with an award-winning wine cellar strongly rooted in the wines of Italy and Bordeaux, Teatro Ristorante has provided a unique dining experience in Calgary for nearly two decades. Over the years Teatro has had the honour of hosting beautiful weddings & events of all types and sizes. We can accommodate private services and seated or cocktail style receptions for an intimate party for as few as four as well as celebrations for 250 or more. Our goal is to ensure that your special day is even more so. We can help with everything from personal menu planning to room layout, cake design to party favours, photo locations to entertainment.
