The Baldwin School, formerly the Historic Bryn Mawr Hotel is the perfect location for your special event. The five-story, chateau-style structure oversees 22 private landscaped acres in a distinguished Main Line location, just nine miles west of Philadelphia. Our beautiful grounds and indoor spaces are the perfect backdrop for your wedding ceremony or reception, bar, bat or bnai mitzvah, corporate function, family reunion or other special event.
Your guests will be welcomed to a warm period style of deeply set windows, several wood burning fireplaces and a sweeping covered veranda. With the beautiful landscaping and the inside charm of Baldwin, couples have many photo opportunities before their guests even arrive. Baldwin, with its cascading grand staircase, provides a spectacular grand entrance. Since we host only one event at a time, we offer two air conditioned dining rooms to choose from. We can host a smaller gathering of up to 120 guests or something more elaborate where as many as 300 guests may enjoy seated dining and dancing in one room. Overall capacity is up to 700 for a cocktail reception.
