About Dekalb Stage

Dekalb Stage is a dedicated, 7,500-square-foot events space for public-facing arts, culture, and entertainment events, such as live music, original performance pieces, and theater. The venue also has the capability to host private events within the two rooms of the Stage holding up to 300 people. The Stage boasts a 180” projector, two additional screens, distributed sound, microphone functionality, and an adjustable stage setting. While not in use for events, the new space brings 250 additional seats to the Market Hall and features fully-customizable sound and lighting installments designed to foster a convivial, relaxed atmosphere. Dekalb Stage features original work from Brooklyn-based artists including Katie Merz, in her signature kinetic black and white style, and Bernardo Siciliano, who produced a 15’ x 20’ Brooklyn landscape for the interior. Joybird, the local artisan furniture maker with a showroom at City Point, provided custom-made pieces for Dekalb Stage’s smaller events space and green room.
