Married among the flowers - An Eventective User from Belmont, NC

This is a gorgeous space for a wedding. They have several different areas to choose from. We choose an area surrounded by white roses with seating for about 50 and a beautiful flowered trellis at the end. (at night for extra lighting they string up gorgeous white crystal lights) They provided us with lovely sitting rooms as our dressing areas. They have a very elegantly decorated reception hall with a separate area for the bar and caterer to set-up. We danced the night away in that room which is glass paned walls so you can have views of the gardens and flowers and then once night fell the stars which are hard to come by these days!! The customer service was very good. We were having some issues trying to decide and they never pressured us or made us feel like we were bothering them. They offered suggestions and kept my stress level at a minimum (which is good when I was a bride-zilla). They set up all the tables and chairs with their tablecloths before we arrived. Then they even helped us do all the clean up after. We were able to pay a deposit and then split up the remaining balance so we weren't terribly strapped for cash during the planning section of the wedding. It honestly is the most perfect place to marry your one and only. Absolutely breath-taking. I am so glad we chose here. What dreams are made of. I plan to spend many anniversaries' here.

Scenic Wedding - An Eventective User from Waxhaw, NC

My wife and I have been to 8 to 10 weddings in the last year since we got married. We had had our ceremony at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens and of all the weddings we have been too we still like the gardens the best. There is a lot of waiting between the ceremony and the reception and the gardens allow wedding guest to explore the gardens during the wedding and the reception. Since the bride and groom can't talk to everyone at once this allows guests to be entertained if you don't want dancing at your reception. The gardens also make for wonderful wedding pictures. There are lots of different backgrounds. The staff was very accommodating and and the service was excellent. We didn't have to worry about anything. The gardens will provide everything from the tents and chairs to the entertainment. They have a list of caterers to choose from. The gardens also gave a year pass to us for having the wedding there. There is plenty of parking also so you don't have to worry about inviting too many people. The gardens are a popular place to get married and for other events so book it soon for your wedding or you may not get the day you want. The landscape is beautiful and your guests will have a great time. We could not have been more pleased with our experience at the gardens and would recommend it to all of our friends and anyone who is looking for a great wedding day.
