Excellent Wedding Reception Venue, An Eventective User from Bedford, IN

The Comfort Inn hotel in Bedford, Indiana is a great wedding reception venue. The hotel itself is lovely. The rooms are modern, amenities are readily available and the facility is well-lit and clean. My wedding guests were very comfortable when staying here. The Comfort Inn boasts several sizes of reception rooms, ranging from small to very large. Some of the rooms can be joined (by removing dividers) to make one larger facility. There is a wall that is not moveable in one area, so it made it hard for wedding guests to see everything, but for a smaller venue this would be perfect. The large room also has a dance floor. At the time of my wedding, the sound equipment on hand was not very good, but we were able to borrow someone's setup last minute to improve it. The staff will literally do everything for you to get your reception ready. I had beautiful white linen table clothes lit underneath with twinkling white lights, all staff provided. They even took the time to light all of my table top candles before the reception started. Waitresses were on hand to provide drinks, serve food and help. It was amazing. My family's stress was greatly eased by the staff. One drawback is that you cannot cater your own meal. The hotel requires that they cater from their own kitchens. It would have been more cost-efficient to get an outside caterer, but having the staff services was a big plus. This is a great venue for a small to medium-sized wedding. Lots of personal attention and attention to detail to help make your big day special!

Cascades Inn is a family-friendly retro motel in a nice quiet location within walking distance to Big 10 Indiana University stadiums and Assembly Hall, and only 1.5 miles from historic downtown Bloomington Indiana. Easily accessible and with free off-street parking, Cascades Inn is located 1/4 mile north of the main State Road 45/46 intersection with North Walnut Street/College Ave on the near north side of Bloomington, Indiana. Also, we are located off the first Bloomington exit on I-69/State Road 37 from the north (Indianapolis). The Cascades Inn has 3 event areas that will provide excellent flexibility for your party or meeting: The Sycamore Room, Maple Room, and the Courtyard Garden. The Sycamore Room is a 1,100 square foot space with floor to ceiling windows along one wall and hardwood floors. The Maple Room is 550 square feet adjoining the the Sycamore Room, perfect for a side meeting, food or display tables.
