The Wright People is an event staffing agency founded by Rick Wright in 1996 to offer quality banquet staff to the most upscale Caterers and Private Clients in the Baltimore and Washington, DC Metro areas.
In addition to helping staff some of the most prestigious events in the area, a large part of our business has always been providing staff to private clients who wish to prepare their own food, or order it from their favorite Restaurant or Store, but require help with the event. Our trained staff will set up the tables, chairs, buffets, etc, see that food is kept at the proper temperature and attractively presented at the right time, and of course, we also tend bar and clean up everything afterward. In short, we can do everything a Caterer can do except provide the food and beverages.
Although we are not Wedding or Event Planners as such, our long experience and extensive contacts in the Special Events industry allow us provide consultations and recommendations regarding Equipment and Linen Rental Companies, Bands or DJs, Florists, Photographers, etc., at no extra charge. We have a long list of the finest providers in the area we can connect you with. We will meet with you at your venue to discuss staffing needs and help plan the event, again at no charge for the first meeting.
