Born in Dayton, OH, LaMarr Allen aka DJ Chief Rocca started in the basement of his grandparent’s home practicing for hours and honing his DJ skills. With such musical influences such as Run-DMC, Jazzy-Jeff and the Fresh Prince, Gangstar and Biz Markie, DJ Chief Rocca became intrigued with the creativity and the influence that a DJ has over a crowd. DJ Chief Rocca started djing in local clubs and colleges in Ohio and the tri-state area. He established such a large fan base in Ohio, he knew it was time to take things to the next level. DJ Chief Rocca decided to move to Atlanta, GA in 2000 to expand his fan base and explore new networking opportunities. He found so much success in Atlanta, that in 2001, he established DJ Chief Rocca Entertainment and set out on a journey to build his brand. After djing in various clubs and for many high profile events in Atlanta, DJ Chief Rocca was approached by T-Roc of RocHarder DJs to join his elite union of established DJs. This new collaboration allowed DJ Chief Rocca to further establish DJ Chief Rocca Entertainment and to continue to give the masses that feel good music that not only keeps you on your feet, but creates a soundtrack for the memories that will live on long after your event is over.
