Pay-Per-Lead vs. Pay-Per-Click

Pay-Per-Lead vs. Pay-Per-Click

Use Eventective to Effectively Market your Business Online

Eventective offers two affordable programs to help you reach prospective customers looking for your services – our Pay-Per-Lead Program and our Pay-Per-Click Advertising Program, called EventClicks.  The names may sound similar, but each program provides a very different marketing strategy for generating new business.

Pay-Per-Lead for Opportunities

A small fraction of all Eventective visitors – just under 2% – fill out an event request form with event details and contact information.  Each request is a plea for assistance.  Eventective visitors are in the beginning stages of planning events and ask event-related businesses in their area to contact them.  These requests result in leads in the Pay-Per-Lead Program.

Motivated businesses can purchase leads – at an average price of $2.50 – to follow-up with a prospective customer and try to win their business.  Lead-buying is not for everyone.  Internet leads often have a high no-response rate and pursuing these leads requires sales skills to successfully close business.

However, many Eventective clients feel that because the lead price is relatively inexpensive, they can budget accordingly and selectively choose the leads that are the best match for them to pursue.  If you book the event, there is no commission paid to Eventective and your only cost was the cost of the lead and the time you spent working that lead.

Pay-Per-Click for Exposure

Pay-Per-Click is a cost-effective method of promoting your business to the 98% of Eventective users who do not submit an event request.  These visitors are researching providers, visiting websites, and making phone calls.  Pay-Per-Click advertising gives you more exposure by displaying your business – complete with your phone number and website link – in all the cities where you choose to promote your services.

Rather than paying a flat fee regardless of how many visitors you get, with EventClicks you agree to pay 25 cents for each customer that clicks on your ad.  You can limit the number of clicks you receive in a day by setting a maximum amount you wish to spend.  Your ad will continue to display until that maximum is reached.  At the end of the month you are only billed for the number of clicks you actually received, and no more than the maximum you set.

Should I Pay for Leads, Clicks or Both?

If you are looking to grow your business through aggressive selling of your services to folks currently planning an event in your area, then the Pay-Per-Lead program is a great low-cost method.  You are paying for contact info for people requesting services like yours for an upcoming event.  You should not expect every lead to turn into business, but extra effort will convert requests into customers.  Activate Pay-Per-Lead on My Eventective now.

If you are looking to build brand recognition for your business, to expose your business to more people planning events online, then the Pay-Per-Click product is the right choice.  Visitors researching their event on Eventective will see your business more often, and may contact you directly since your contact info is prominently displayed.  Sign-up for Pay-Per-Click on My Eventective today.

If you are interested in both growing your business through aggressive sales, and marketing to Eventective visitors, then our Annual Subscription is right for you.  With our Annual Subscriptions (at the Enhanced or Premium levels), you get the same exposure as Event Clicks and you get a discount on leads.  Basic and Enhanced Subscribers enjoy a 20% discount on lead purchases, Premium Subscribers receive all leads free.  To learn more, contact Eventective by calling 207-253-1653.

Like many of the other comments that I have read....I am concern about the turn around in terms of BRIDES actually calling or clicking.  I had one service that I used and MANY...MANY of the calls where to ladies that were NOT brides...didn't know HOW their names got on the list. So how do you get these potential brides...are they real people? Are the clicks per person (bride)...if she goes to the site more than once, does each time count as a click? Sorry I have many questions, called twice with NO respond.  I am thinking I need to be thought I would send email instead. I can be reached by phone as well 314.604.5770
