Knights of Columbus Home of DenverKnights of Columbus Home of Denver can accommodate events up to 300 people.  Their rooms consist of the Main Hall, the Garden room, and the Lounge.  One great feature that this venue offers is the availability of the kitchen as quoted to suit the purpose of the event.  Don't feel like cooking?  Having it catered is also an option!  The Knights of Columbus Home of Denver is managed by Randy Erickson who spent some time talking to Eventective about his experience with online advertising.

The Challenge

Before Randy advertised online, The Knights of Columbus Home in Denver relied on Word of Mouth marketing.  This form of advertising worked well in a sense where customers would come back again due to relations with the organization, but it did not bring in a high quantity of events to be worth while for the venue.

The Solution

At the beginning of 2013, Randy decided to sign up for online advertising with Eventective to promote The Knights of Columbus Home in Denver to people looking to hold events.  Pretty soon the number of inquiries about their rental spaces and their facility began to dramatically increase. Randy started to book events for birthdays, baptisms, bridal showers, baby showers, and other events.

The Result

As business started rolling in for The Knights of Columbus Home in Denver, Randy decided to upgrade to the Annual Premium Subscription to give him maximum exposure in the Denver area.  Randy added packages to his listing, which coupled with the advertising, brought in more events and referrals for their venue.

“The best business is always referrals.” - Randy

Randy’s Advice

Take hold of online advertising with Eventective to promote visuals of your venue through photos and packages.  Randy was always told that visuals of the event space would give potential customers a broader idea of what is offered.  It is also important that you schedule one-on-one sessions to discuss the event details from the leads that come in.  These one-on-one sessions provide the opportunity to form a relationship with your customer and answer any questions upfront that they may have.
