About El Adobe De Capistrano

El Adobe offers an artfully restored historic setting, as well as a full range of services for your next event. The walls forming El Adobe’s cocktail lounge were part of the original Miguel Yorba Adobe. The wine cellar is now housed in the Juzgado’s dungeon-like cell. To the right of the lobby entrance, the Lounge offers intimate table settings; some nestled near the original fireplace of the Miguel Yorba adobe. In the center, the antiqued bar is reminiscent of the detailed wood-worked found in a historic mission or cathedral. Lounge doors open to a narrow outdoor seating area furnished with crafted wood and leather patio chairs. The Banquet & Catering Menus feature many authentic and historic Mexican-Californian specialties as well as steaks and seafood from our new mesquite grill.

Party in Beautiful Historic San Juan Capistrano - An Eventective User from San Juan Capistrano, CA

El Adobe Restuarant in San Juan Capistrano is a beautiful venue. The restuarant has an outdoor courtyard perfect for any party. The food is good and the service is also very good. We recently had an 8th grade graduation party and it was very well executed. The restaurant also has a private banquet/party venue that is adjacent to the outdoor patio. This worked well becasue we used the patio as a pre-party gathering spot with a host bar. Then when the ceremony took place we all went inside and were seated at tables. The restuarant is located right in historic downtown San Juan Capistrano and is conducive to after-event sight seeing (Mission San Juan Capistrano is a short walk), window shopping, etc. The courtyard is beastifully decorated with flowers, trees and a fountain. Old style Mexican motif very beautifully maintained. President Richard Nixon used to frequent this restaurant when he lived in San Clemente.
