About Woodstock sound and lighting

Mike Leach started his company Woodstock in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1976 as a sound and lighting engineer for many traveling bands. After ten years of traveling with Zadain, Scorpions, Humble Pie, Danny Johnson, Vixen, and South Paw. He moved to Dallas in 1986 and started Woodstock Sound and Lighting. The company started off providing sound and lighting for bands, corporate events, and local festivals. In 1997, Mike Leach returned to Louisiana with Woodstock and joined the Shreveport and Bossier City Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Tourist Bureau. Through joining, Woodstock obtained the opportunity to be the production company for the Shreveport Times 4th of July festival for three years, as well as production jobs for the Isle of Capri Casino, Harris Casino, and local radio station concerts. In 2004, Woodstock returned to Dallas, Texas; where it is currently located. Recently, Woodstock has been working with freelance companies doing corporate events to further expand its knowledge and gain more experience in a vast variety of entertainment fields.
