My company has our annual corporate strategy meetings at the Jazz at Lincoln center. My overall experiences at the venue have been very positive. I wasn't involved with the negotiations with pricing and such so I won't be able to provide any feedback there, but knowing my company and our budget, I can only guess that the pricing was fair. The event was hosted for around 2000 people and lasted from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. A continental breakfast was prepared for our arrival and lunch was served in a formal dining setting in their beautiful atrium/dining room (not sure if it's a dining room usually or if they set it up specifically for our event). The staff was very friendly in facilitating the event throughout the day. The auditorium was large and easily accommodated all of us. The temperature was kind of chilly and no food was allowed, which would be my only complaint. Since we had the conference on a weekday, many people had work that needed to be tended to during the day which required internet access. We were able obtain internet access from a staff member (who responded very quickly to our request) even though it was not a part of our package/agreement ahead of time. After the main event was over, more food was served (with beer and wine) while most people stuck around to socialize. General feedback towards the venue from my employer is very positive. It's a bigger venue, probably not good for smaller events, but definitely a go-to option for us.

We chose to have our reception and wedding in the Rose Theater at the Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center. I loved it. The scene was absolutely beautiful. The room has chandeliers everywhere that we managed to get lights to shine through and sparkle on the domed ceiling. The view going in was spectacular, but the stage inside, lit up and everything, was dazzling. Our Event Director worked with me to get the red and gold color theme I wanted very tastefully, and it perfectly matched the bridesmaid's dresses. We hired a band to play the music, and the acoustics were as expected, an absolute dream. The stage was bigger than we expected, and it was easy to move around on. During the ceremony it didn't clank like some other stages we checked out. That was a large point with me, since I wanted to glide across the stage and not thunder. Catering was by Great Performances, and they worked with me to get an absolutely magical menu. I just mentioned the theme and they came up with a whole lot of artful options that were very hard to choose between. The entree, Coffee Dusted Filet Mignon, was especially praised by our guests and I loved the revolving dessert options. There were eight dressing rooms, so I had one of my own as well as the groom and the guests could mingle between themselves. The rooms were very clean and spacious, it felt great to have someplace to unwind. The price was worth it, I had a magical night and paid a magical price, but I don't regret it. These were the memories of a lifetime. The staff could be a bit cold, since the venue is very high-class, but they were responsive and got everything done that I needed them to.
