The Tim Hartis Group has played jazz standards at events in greater Charlotte, NC, since 1996. Musical styles include swing, Latin, ballads, and blues. The band plays background music at dinners and socials. The band plays upbeat music at festivals and dances. Depending on the clients' needs and budgets, the band plays as a trio, quartet, and quintet. The band adds a vocalist upon request. Songs include Don't Get Around Much Anymore, It's Only A Paper Moon, Wave, Girl From Ipanema, When I Fall In Love, At Last, and All Blues. Recent clients include Comporium (Rock Hill's telephone co.), Hospice & Community Care, York Electric Co-Op, and The Herald newspaper. "You have been fabulous to work with. Always on time and always gives a great performance," said Patricia Larson with the Fort Mill Times. The band played several promotional events for the newspaper.
