Spectacular Venue - An Eventective User from Newark, Delaware

Deerfield is a country club that offers tennis and golf to its members and it holds many weddings all year round. The building is nestled back in a country like setting off of a small road. The building itself is beautiful as well as the grounds it sits on. We had our wedding there and it was perfect! The wedding coordinator was helpful and nice on rehearsal day. We got married at Deerfield and then had the reception there afterwards. The ceremony took place on the golf course and champagne was served as the guests were walking to cocktail hour. Inside, there is a bridal suit with a full length mirror, couches, fruits, cheese, and champagne in there too that the bridal party was having while the guests arrived. There are three different rooms available for weddings. The main ballroom which is surrounded by glass windows and overlooks the golf course. There is a window hallway that allows guests to go from the cocktail hour to the main dining room. Cocktail hour was in two rooms that joined each other with two bars and a food stand in the middle of the room. There is also a beautiful outside patio with a gorgeous fountain. The fountain at dusk makes for wonderful wedding pictures. We served filet or chicken to everyone and the food was cooked to perfection. After the wedding there was shuttle that escorted us to the hotel for the evening. Deerfield made our wedding day the best day of my life!
