9/26/2011 | | "Classy place for classy events", An Eventective User from Temecula, CA | I recommend going to Paradise Point for big events. They remodeled the banquet room just a couple of years ago (2009) and now has full length windows looking out onto the bay. There is a boat dock and fun outdoor restaurant that provides plenty to do. The boat dock has sailboats, motor boats, and other fun water toys that make it possible to be out on the water for as long as you want.
There are many things to do at Paradise, aside from the banquet room for parties. There are a few golf holes to practice your game, several restaurants to enjoy, and many rooms have a private beach. Even though we were there for a wedding, we were able to lay out by the pool, take sailing lessons, and Sea World is super close.
I really liked the boat dock. The people that worked there a couple of years ago made our sailing lesson really fun. They offered us drinks, let us sail for a bit, and even gave us a discount when we accidentally stayed out past our time. After sailing, we enjoyed the outdoor patio at Bareback grill. I highly recommend this hotel for any length of stay in San Diego. |
