Preston | Senior Portrait Photography - Livingston, TX

As high school graduation approaches, it marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. Senior year is a time filled with excitement, anticipation, and reflection as students prepare to embark on the next phase of their journey. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Preston, a high school senior boy, capturing the essence of this pivotal moment in his life.

For me, photographing seniors is an opportunity to celebrate accomplishments, dreams, and individuality. Through a blend of candid shots and posed portraits, we were able to capture his vibrant energy and genuine spirit. As he prepares to take the next step towards his future, these photographs will serve as a reminder of the journey he has taken and the bright opportunities that lie ahead.

Bella Vista Farm | Brenham, TX

While I’m a Livingston, TX based photographer, I never pass up the opportunity to hold bluebonnet sessions in Brenham! Lexi and I found this absolutely adorable roadside stand on our two hour trek and we turned around so we could stop and check it out.

I ran back to the car to grab my camera so I could share good photos of what they had to offer! Honey in many shades and colors, fresh flower bouquets, and beeswax candles were all available for purchase. They use the honor system and accept both cash and Venmo!

If you happen to be in the area, check them out! I’ll link their socials and website below.

Emilia's Newborn Session | Livingston, TX

This precious girl was so, so sweet and snuggly at her session. At just 11 days new, I traveled to Emilia’s family’s home in Livingston, Texas and set up my mobile studio next to a window in their living room at home.

Emilia’s mom chose pinks and sage greens for her session, and I brought several neutral options along as well as they’re my favorite! Neutrals are timeless and photograph so beautifully, and then adding in preferred colors here and there ensure that once printed and hung, your wall art will match your home and nursery decor.

Since Emilia’s parents opted for an in-home newborn mini session, I brought along three complete set ups with different floor props and wrap/textile options. Baby stays wrapped during the entire session which keeps them warm, snuggled, and comfy the entire time. Wraps can easily be added on top of each other making for quick transitions from one set up to the next. Mama chose the darker wood backdrop which is my personal favorite for those rich, bold tones and really helps draw the eye right to your beautiful baby.

Rylie's One Year Photos | Kingwood, TX

We stumbled upon this location thanks to a suggestion from another photographer and I’m so grateful! I was initially worried when I heard it was just the side of a bayou, but it photographs so beautifully. The sunlight is so even and perfect that it’s truly a great location for so many different types of locations!

We decided this was a great spot to bring Rylie’s white rocking chair and a few outfits and capture her first birthday photos, and I’m elated with the way they turned out! Rylie is SO dang cute that I had such a hard time culling her gallery down and even included additional images because I couldn’t help it.

Cameron - Senior Portraits | Livingston, TX

This was such a fun senior portrait session that took place in Cypress, TX. Even though I’m based in Livingston, I’m happy to travel to capture these amazing memories for you!

We started off at Cameron’s high school where he wore his cap and gown, and then rode a short distance away to a nearby park with pretty evening lighting. He and his Mom opted for an hour long session at two locations. When choosing what to wear for guys, I always suggest that the senior pick something that they feel like represents them or that they feel comfortable in - their favorite outfit, t shirt, tennis shoes, whatever that may be. I also tell them to let Mom pick an outfit that she would prefer to see them in - after all, we all know the guys only take the photos for Mom anyway! As long as one of those outfits features something without a graphic, major pattern, or too much color, the photos will most often be timeless.
