EVENT ARCHITECTS HAS ACQUIRED MUNDAY COLLINS

Santa Clara, CA, Release: September 1,2020 .  For Immediate Release

Event Architects and Munday Collins have announced today the acquisition of the Munday Collins,  Event Architects will acquire Munday Collins assets, people and customer contracts and the acquired business will operate under the Event Architects brand, but maintain the Munday Collins DBA.

Munday Collins, founded in 1944, has been providing audio visual support to events in and around the greater Bay Area for 76 years, with a focus on customer service and the personal touch of a ma/pa business model.

“Munday and Collins has a long history of customer service and I believe this will mesh well with Event Architects,” explains Jeff Smith, CEO of Event Architects.

Bob Munday, soon to be retired CEO of Munday Collins, also commented, “Event Architects will continue to expand upon the service and production offerings you’ve become accustomed to with us.  I have had a long and pleasant working relationship with the management and staff at Event Architects and I am confident they will be able to continue to go above and beyond your expectations.”

The acquisition will expand upon the business portfolio of Event Architects, but additionally it will broaden the range of available in-house production services available to clients of Munday Collins. Todd Szymanski of Munday Collins, will manage and service Munday Collins customers under the Event Architects brand and operate at their corporate headquarters in Santa Clara, CA.

The acquisition transition process was completed on September 30, 2020, and due to the reduced business in the live event industry from COVID-19, we experienced no disruptions of services to existing contracts and projects.

For more information about this partnership and how it may or may not impact Munday Collins customers and projects, please contact Todd Szymanski.
