Hi I'm Lara

 

Hey there! I’m so happy you’re here!

I am fascinated by people and love telling their stories through images. Capturing connections and beautiful, authentic, and love-filled moments is my passion. I create images that will always remind you of how it felt to be in that moment. Images that show you how beautiful you really are. Images that you can’t resist displaying in your home and will remind you of celebrating moments with those you love. I love getting my clients to laugh, take risks, get a little silly, and most of all, feel comfortable in front of my lens.

I’m based in Michigan and am full of wanderlust. I’m influenced by cultures and travel—here and abroad. I create artistic lifestyle images for individuals, events, and brands.

I love Lake Michigan, watching the stars, reading, taking long hikes with my husband and our dog, eating al fresco, and the stories behind old photographs. I believe in forming lasting relationships with clients and am so honored that I get to photograph many of them year after year. I’m all about spreading joy, sketching ideas for photos, directing my photographs and letting moments reveal themselves.

I am forever in awe of the intense beauty of nature and the magic of every day moments.

Lara! 🧡 Just wanted to let you know you were absolutely amazing from start to finish! Professional, sweet and warm. I reached out to many photographers in Saugatuck in which I’m sure they are probably great as well, however I chose you—even though you were a bit more pricier than others—as my photographer because I felt your energy through our emails and you just were more personable! You responded to all of my emails and answered all of my questions in a prompt manner when I was inquiring.

Even when the weather was not what we expected and my makeup artist cancelled, you remained positive and tried your best to uplift me and make sure that I remained in good spirits by being supportive and creating a schedule where it would be possible to get great shots the way I envisioned.

You made my boyfriend and I feel comfortable during the entire photo shoot . You engaged and joked with us which made the experience even better! He and I are both big on good customer service—which we don’t get often—however we thought your customer service and communication was phenomenal!

I haven’t done many photo shoots or worked with many photographers but you honestly exceeded my expectations.

Lara is simply one of the best photographers I have ever met. I could not think of anyone other than her that could have done a better job at photographing my wedding and some special milestones of my daughter’s life. She is a true expert, talented, patient, flexible and has amazing people skills. Everyone loves having her being behind the camera as she makes sure that she captures their best selves. Lara captured so much of Olivia’s personality. She helped Liv choose places and completely made the experience fun and natural. We loved our time with Lara. So difficult to choose. Lara was AMAZING! She set such a great tone for the photos before the wedding. She was so open to ideas and had so many great ideas of her own. She made the photo time another fun part of the day.
