Tired of cliché wedding photos?

Me too!

Welcome to my world where wedding photography transcends the ordinary, and your love story is anything but cookie-cutter. Say goodbye to predictable poses and hello to the unexpected. I thrive on the unconventional, capturing moments that defy tradition and celebrate the wonderfully offbeat.

My documentary wedding photography approach ensures you’ll be able to relive the joy, love, and emotions of your wedding day.

you’ve found the perfect Atlanta Wedding Photographer

Cindy Brown, award-winning Atlanta wedding photographer in Atlanta

My pronouns are she, her, hers. HEADSHOT BY TOM MEYER.

I’m Cindy. I love weddings …

but not in a generic, fairy-tale kind of way. I love specific weddings, in all their individuality—the emotions, the excitement, the laughter, the tears, the couples holding hands and gazing into each other’s eyes, flower girls bickering with each other, guests laughing and dancing, sparklers smoking and burning, and friends and family tearing up before, during and after the ceremony.

I’m a newspaper photojournalist
turned documentary wedding photographer

I’m also queer and friendly and queer-friendly. :)

I am so incredibly grateful for Cindy! Not only did she capture the best moments and our personalities through her photos, but she was flexible and worked with us through rescheduling with COVID.

I highly recommend Cindy for anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

Sure, I’ll take a few posed wedding photos

… most of them of people laughing, some of them a little quirky and some that are perfect for your parents’ or grandparents’ wall of family fame.

I’ll do all this super fast, so you can celebrate with friends and family.

And so I can concentrate on what I do best …
documenting what’s really happening.

I’ll take details and scene setters, as well, because they help tell the story of your day.

You tell me what’s important about your wedding day and I’ll be sure to capture images that will help you remember. If flowers are your thing, I’ll make sure you have lots of flower photos for posterity. If you’ve gone all in on a wedding cake that’s stunning, I’ll show it from every angle.

Otherwise, I’ll be looking for the tiny details that make your wedding day special.

Check out a few of my Artistic Guild award-winning wedding portraits and details here on the WPJA site.

Let’s make sure I am perfect for you.

I don’t take every wedding I’m asked to photograph. It's very important I work with couples who share my brand values.

I'd love to hear more about you and your story. Fill out the contact form and I'll be in touch as soon as possible.
