Guest May 5, 2010

I wouldnt want a cake of myself but I do give tons of credit to the creator. He/she did an awesome constructing the cake which is what really matters. She looks like she's actually just checking the cake out and doesnt look angry at all. Btw whomever started this thread should change the name of it since she came up w/the idea and the groom. People and their conclusions.

Guest May 14, 2010
The concept is great, I you are still married after 30 years then it would be a good nostalgia piece. A lot of you are too restrictive in your thinking!

I think it is crazy to have a cake like that, but to each their own. Then to the lady who is actually wearing your cake? I, in my opinion, would like to enjoy the reception. Seriously...

actually it was a reality tv show...bridezillas???? and SHE was the one that demanded it look exactly like her!!!

Guest May 21, 2010
Aaah, c'mon...he's CRAZY about her! He "meant" well... whoever MADE it did JUSTICE--a GREAT job!!!
The groom has "imagination" GIVE HIM THAT!!!
It's ONLY cake and the ONLY time he will be "willing" to SHARE her in any kind of "personal" way even CLOSE to this! LOL!!! Laugh aleady... NOT a crime, JUST somewhat "UNUSUAL!!! wink)) Get "over" it!!! wink

Guest May 22, 2010
I think it is tacky a shows she is a little to conceeded. Everyone is asking how she felt about it, she did it, how did that groom feel? What part did they keep for their one year anniversary, the head?

Guest May 24, 2010
That's disgusting. It's not even a very good match to her skin or dress pattern.

Guest May 25, 2010
For a cake, it looks pretty amazing - I wonder how it tastes ? ...and how much it cost ? ...would I want a cake made in my likeness ?...NO WAY

We would definitely charge an arm and a leg
if someone ordered a cake like that from us.
LOL.

The bride pretty much always orders the cake, or has a girlfriend or wedding planner do it for her.
There is no way she didn't know what she was going to get on her wedding cake.

JUST WRONG!!!!

Guest June 8, 2010
I appreciate the sentiment but it doesn't seem to be appreciated by the bride - do you see the expression on her face! I'm thinking the honeymoon wasn't too much fun for him.

I think if the groom took the time to order such a cake, it is to show a display of love, affection and devotion to the bride. While it might be a little startling, it is the thought and his love that counts the most here!

Wow, Everyone seems so uptight on this thread, I think it's kind of funny smile Maybe even a bit flattering to the bride.
And to the person above me: You would get a divorce if your husband over a wedding cake? I wonder if you even love him at all. Whaaaaa?

and what happens when they get to the middle cut of the cake? "a piece without the thigh meat please"Whaaaaa?

Guest June 26, 2010
someone who attended should let us know how it tasted, i'm not making any comments as to it's appearance, this couple worked on the details and got want they asked for, that sums it up.

Guest July 11, 2010
I'd skip this one. in theory it's a good idea - but not for an elegant wedding. it would be fun though if it were one of the star wars or avatar characters!

Guest July 13, 2010
Awwww, she just doesn't want to cut the cake....Ir's soooooooo beautiful. not!

smileInitially, a nice gesture, then you have to wander maybe she wanted to see what she looks like outside of her body, perhaps she wanted to be bigger than life, what about the taste, who wants that much chocolate? If you think the cake cost alot, look at that RING!!!!! on her finger... and then when all has been said, perhaps she wanted to see what she looks like in death... It looks like a dead person standing up... one who is smililng because, she surely is not as she stands beside the man she will spend the rest of her life with.. And what is that little knife gonna cut????? LOL!!!! They definitely left a LASTING impression on their guest for sure.....smile

Guest August 7, 2010
Did the groom get a look-a-like cake, too? Now that would be unique and interesting. Probably not, right? Bridezillas are all about themselves. However, he looks happy; she looks disappointed.

Guest August 22, 2010
for God's sake why would anyone think the groom did this? doesn't the bride plan, order, etc., her wedding to be just exactly what she has dreamt all her life? he didn't do this; SHE did it! this has been on TV and she did it all.
