OMG.

This woman crocheted her own wedding dress! I can't even imagine having the time, patience, or skill to do that!!

What "do it yourself" items are you doing for your wedding?

I love the bottom half... very pretty. I am sure if this was more current the top would be a little different and the Gloves.... GONE.

Wonderful! Congratulations. I know the work, effort and pleasure that went into your endeavor must have been well worth the pleasure and the event. My Mom crocheted a wedding dress for one of my sisters. It too was a lovely work of love and patience and will be long remembered.

I'm sure if anyone wanted to they could do this too. I also crocheted a white gown for graduation. And the only previous crochet work I had done was a granny square potholder. I also had to adapt the pattern (math major here- crochet patterns are easily converted to graphs) because I only had one crocket hook and different thread than what pattern called for. I also changed it as I wanted two piece top & skirt instead of one dress. I'm trying to find a picture to share.

AWWWW how pretty!!! And what a very good idea and cheper, I can do the graph thing that's easy now all I need is the time. And I would love to see the conversion of the dress.loriwise wrote:

That is awesome...sadly I thought I was doing well making my own table runners lol...it is all about the time commentmint to me. So much to get done and only 3 months away and working full time evenings makes it a little tough sometimes

OH MY GOSH!! That's amazing, I would never be able to make it look that good. I might be doing my own flowers but that's it.
