Good morning. My name is Adrienne and my fiance Timothy and I are looking for a BEACH WEDDING with a great reception area in OC Maryland. There are many very nice places to hold your wedding in the Ocean City area. There are several very nice country/golf clubs (Rehoboth Beach, Baywood, Bayview, Kings Creek) and several upscale areas. When I'm planning an event in an area I'm not familiar with, I always contact the local BIA first (business improvement association). They can give you unbiased information on the venues that are available. I hate to say it, but sites like travelocity are great for finding reviews of hotels and venues by real people. The best thing you can do though is go down there, get a hotel room, and book a lot of meetings with venues. walk around the area where you want to find a venue and wait for one to jump out at you.
