Anna unfortunately there is not a lot of water in Orlando. So if you want to get married on a beach you are have to move closer to the coast, Daytona, Cocoa, etc. If you just want water there is places that have lakes, the St. JOhns River is in Sanford. If you have a specific theme in mind give me an email I can point you in a more specific direction to a htoel or place in orlando, Lynne@uniquesigevents.com

I get this question quite often; mostly from Brides who are planning a destination wedding or couples who wish to marry when they're on vacation. FL alot bigger than it looks. Orlando is in the middle of it which makes it highly accessible, but no where near the shore.

You will find Orlando has many beautiful lakes and wedding sites on the water. Any real beach is about a two hour drive from town. The beaches on the Gulf are calm, romantic and perfect for sunset weddings. Beaches on the Atlantic have bigger waves and most require a city permit to marry on the shore. As a FL Marriage Officiant I have agreat deal of experience and work to make your ceremony as easy as possible foryou; before and on your wedding day. For information about marrying in Florida and how I may assist, please review all of the pages of the Our Simple Ceremony website at: www.oursimpleceremony.com

Here are a fewof my favorite places in Orlando for romantic small weddings!
