My wife and I are planning our Wedding Anniversary for September 2013. We would love to renew vows and have a dessert reception immediately following with dancing. We expect between 150 and 200 people. However, we have a budget of $1000 to $2000 for the venue. We are open to non traditional spaces but we definitely want to have a venue where people can be dressy and still feel comfortable. Does any one have any suggestions or recommendations in the Bay Area?
Does anyone have any recommendations for desert caterers (with linens, display only) for less than $3000

You can always try universities they have rooms that can be rented and turned into ballrooms. They also can come with food and linens. so that might work out a little cheaper for your.

Try the Montclair Women's Club - big space, nice outdoor patio for ceremony. September is usually beautiful. Tell them Devoted referred you.
