I am trying to find a venue for a high school dance around the Orange County, California area. (Long Beach area is fine). We are planning on having 400 teens. We are on a strict budget so we will need prices for everything. Thank you very much and if you have a venue or know of one, please contact me.

No set theme yet. The dance will take place on December 21, 2012. We have lots of time so we want everything perfect for the right price.

Sounds like a Winter Wonderland! If you go along those lines, I have custom graphics I'd be willing to share to reduce your cost on Save the Date and Invites. Is the HS public or private? Are you also going to have door prizes or gifts? I also have Foodie Truck!

This is a public HS. What is a Foodie Truck?

If your event is at a location where you can bring in your own caterer, I have a 'mobile' kitchen which can travel to the site and cook from the mobile kitchen. Anything from hamburgers to sushi. I also have access to a wood burning pizza trailer food truck...very unusual and fun, too.

Since you are a public HS and have non-profit status, some venues will provide discounts.

I see. That is not a bad idea.

I'm not sure we will be considered non-profit, as we will be selling tickets for the dance.
