You might think me crazy, but check out your local grocery stores. I don't know what chains are in Michigan, but around here the Publix grocery stores make the best wedding cakes! The Target bakery ones are pretty darned good too. They won't be quite as fancy or creative as a boutique bakery specializing in wedding cakes, but they are lovely and quite tasty.
