Need a Wedding venue location in Broward County, Florida

Messages in this topic - RSS
I am recently engaged and am in need of a location to hold our ceremony and reception. We live in Broward County and have decided on a budget of $5000.00. Is this possible? I am getting overwhelmed just trying to find a place.

Congratulations!

$5,000 can be a realistic budget, but it depends entirely upon the size of your guest list.

Broward County Parks and Recreation department has a rental page that includes a picture of a lovely set up for a wedding.

Mangrove Hall looks gorgeous http://www.broward.org/Parks/WestLakePark/Pages/wlpmangrove.aspx

You might also check colleges and universities in the area; fraternal organizations such as VFW, Moose, Elk, etc.

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Fort Lauderdale rents out their facilities. http://uucfl.org/bg/rentals/index.shtml

I remember officiating a wedding in Broward County years ago, but I'm afraid I can't remember the venue. *blush*

Janette any wedding on any budget can be overwhelming. Yes a $5000 budget is doable but it is something you have to decide what is important to you and what is not. A wedding planner can help you with this and save you more than their fee. I work in Fl quite often as I am originally from there. Actually I was born in Broward County. Give us a look at www.fancyevents.net or call (401)FANCYME.

Wedding venues vary in size so you want to take that into consideration. If you want a small and intimate wedding then it doesn't make sense to pay for a huge location. However, you don't want your guests to be cramped into a very small location so if you want a big wedding make sure the venue is able to hold them. I have a recommendation of http://www.lejardin.com/weddings-events.php . they are really good in this stuffs.

Congratulations on your engagement! Your budget is actually very reasonable for a modest wedding, and I would love to discuss some ideas with you. I am a certified wedding and event planner recently based in the Southeast region, but most of my professional experience is from Southern California's booming wedding and special events industry. I am a travelling coordinator, so I am happy to come to you and work with you on the planning. Sometimes the easiest thing to do is to hire someone to do the research, coordinate your vendors and help design everything with and for you (almost like a personal wedding assistant). I specialize in creating spectacular events on a budget, so I can talk to you about some ideas (even if you aren't looking to hire a wedding planner). Feel free to email me or call me at your convenience, and I would be happy to speak with you! I could also lend my services for helping plan, setup/breakdown and coordinate the event on the day of so that you can enjoy your wedding!

Best Wishes,
