After much deliberation, my daughter and her fiance have decided to elope somewhere around Nashville, TN. Are there any suggestions from people familiar with the area? I have done research on the web (overwhelming) and contacted the visitor's bureau. They are mailing information. Thanks, shel p.s. My daughter doesn't have a computer at this time, if you're wondering why I'm doing the searching.

You are doing the searching because you love your daughter As for Nashville, I am not sure what their budget is or when they are planning on getting married, but I would recommend the Gaylord. This hotel did receive damage from severe flooding, but they have been remodeling the facility and the plans look like the upgrade is going to be more spectacular than before! They will be open for business this Fall!

I know that there are alot of nice places in Nashville that have been destroyed by the flooding. When are they planning on doing this? Nashville is a very nice place.

Update....once again, the kids have changed their minds. Instead of Nashville, they are now talking about getting married in the haunted house in Springfield, IL on Halloween, and then having a reception at some future time. They (well, the groom, actually...my daughter will just do whatever he wants to do and is definitely not Bridezilla!) Thanks, though, for the Gaylord suggestion. Isn't it tragic about the flooding??? It is a strong community, though. I know that they will pull together and make Nashville as beautiful as it always has been. shel
