Dear Chris:

Try one of these locations. You should be able to find them in your phone book, on the internet or at a local real estate office in your town.

Eagles
Elks
Lions
VFW
Grange halls
Knights of Columbus
WYCA/WMCA

These places usually have a great hall and have a kitchen, tables, coat rooms, bathrooms and are air conditioned. The good thing here is that you can bring all of your own stuff, get inexpensive table decor (paper and plastic is acceptable and can look quite elegant in the right color combinations) and purchase ready made florals at Home Depot for around $10 apiece. I would order a birthday cake from Costco or a BJ's or Sam's Club. A sheet cake would do nicely.

I can design for you, with your sister's image, invites, sign in posters, thank you cards with magnet favors and a large birthday banner. My basic packages start at $175 which includes:

* 100 postcard invites with image/design colors of your choice, envelopes and matching return address labels
* 100 thank-you mini cards with magnet favors to place at each table setting. You won't need to send a follow up thank you with these.
* One super vinyl banner with a birthday welcome message (your sister's image can be placed on any or all the materials)
*Two sign-in posters that her guests write a nice message - comes with matching pen

I'll need two weeks to get everything to you.

All the best and good luck!

Sincerely,

Lise Ramos

I'm looking for a place to have a party for my siser for her 40th. I can't afford to pay a crazy amount as I will be providing all the food, alcohol, and other drinks.

I live in Indianapolis, IN, and am willing to have it in the downtown area, south side, or east side.

The party will be November of 2010.
Thanks so much!
