Hello we have a venue called the Hangar @ Sky combat Ace that would be GREAT for a graduation party. It is unique and fun!
we have an aviation theme with aircraf on display ,Dj booth, presention area, bar, Full motion sim, lounge, dance floor etc. and it is good for small or big groups. Hi! I live in La Puente, CA and I am looking for a place to hold a college graduation party for about 40-60 people in May 2012. Looking to stay inexpensive but MAY CONSIDER some places a bit more pricey if need be. Want a dance floor/banquet hall to dance in. Hi, I am looking for a venue to host a graduation party for my son and step son. There will be approximately 50 to 80 teens and adults. I want the people to open the door and walk into a club like atmosphere with loud music. The event will be in June 2011 whenever a venue is available (haven't set a date yet). This is last minute so the date is flexible. The location should be in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania or surrounding area within 10 miles. Can you help me??? My boys like to dance... |

That sounds exactly like what I have to do. I don't have 80 ppl, but more like 50, and I am going to the Suite Lounge in the Epicentre. I checked out the website and it looks like they got their stuff together. So I would try that and if that isn't you then try Karma, Alllure, or The Aloft Hotel Lounge. |

Hi Cryce,
Considering the budget and the time of year the best option is a state or city park with a picnic shelter (in case it rains).
The problem you will run into is that you have chosen one of the busiest times of the year for such places. Memorial Day weekend reservations for such places may have sold out a year or more ago.
If you have a friend that lives in an apartment or a condominium with a clubhouse and pool you might see if you could rent the facility... My concern is that this would probably be very difficult considering the busy weekend.
You could also check out motels in the area that might have a pool and see if any have a party room and pool for rent that is still available. The problem is they are probably going to want top dollar... unless they had a last minute type cancellation.
While this is somewhat of a long shot... I think it is worth a try to call all of the summer camps in the area and see if they could take an additional group for memorial day weekend. It will take time to do, but there is some possibility a camp might not be fully sold out.
Another option might be to have the party a week sooner.... you might save quite a bit of money and find the facility much more easily.

Awesome Party!!!....I was very worrying about organizing and party for my friends and relative, actually it was the first anniversary and I never ever organized a party from my own but Calgary Caterers have done a very nice job. Every one is praising about the quality of catering services and delicious food, I never have seen such Catering in Calgary
