Hi Lander0205, Have you checked out family style restaurants which may have a large meeting room? Oftentimes, these restaurants will let you use their room for several hours and order dinner right off the menu. Perhaps, one of the diners in your area would have such a room... or could close off part of the restaurant just for you. Another alternative might be to check on religious and civic institutions which may be interested in renting out their social hall. Happy Very Special birthday to your grandmother. Ron Ronald G. Hello, for singing, entertainment and also possible DJ needs contact Micheal J. Dinardo that has entertained New Jersey Area for years. He sings Sinatra, Cash, Willie Nelson. That would better suite the entertainment needs of your grandmothers age group. Listen for yourself http://www.michaeljdinardo.net/media.php

We're going to have a 90th birthday party for my grandmother in April, approx 70 guests in the Plainsboro/Princeton/East & West Windsor/Lawrenceville/South Brunswick, NJ area (I know that's a lot of towns, but I'm getting desperate). So far all I have found are hotel banquet halls and they start at $30 per person & up, just for the food. She's not a fancy-pantsy type of person, so I'm looking for something more low key, and much more casual since there will be a decent amount of children attending. |
