Thanksgiving Day Event
Hello Everyone!

My Family hosts our Thanksgiving dinner in a different city along the east coast every year for the past 15 years. This year our event is being held in Cleveland, OH. I was born in the area but I currently reside all the way in Virginia. I am looking for a venue which allows you to bring your own food an beverages that is reasonably priced (prefferably under $500). This venue must be able to hold 100-150 people. If you have any suggestions at all please respond I welcome all of the recommendations I may receive because planning from out of state I am unable to actually visit venues.

Looking for a venue in Northern Kentucky to host a baby shower. Reasonable fees and will allow for own food to be brought in.
I am looking to have a birthday party in Montreal on the 28 or 29th of November 2014. I am looking at about 60 people. I would already have a DJ. Any suggestions for a venue? I currently live in Washington state so most of the transactions would have to be by phone, email or skype

Hiring a wedding/event planner
I know many people are on a tight budget these days, and I’ve noticed many people reaching out for ideas on how to keep their wedding budgets low. Many people think they can’t afford to hire a planner, but the truth is, hiring a planner may actually save you money…and definitely time (which is worth more than money). I am a planner in the NE Ohio area, and I have several vendors that I work with that provide a discount for my couples, simply because they appreciate my referral. Also, a knowledgeable planner can steer you in the right direction, as far as choosing vendors that are going to be within your budget and finding low cost décor options. Planners are generally creative people by nature, and can provide great ideas for making your ceremony and reception look great without spending big bucks. I even offer rental items (vases, candle holders, etc) and can create centerpieces for my clients relatively cheap, and they look unique and beautiful. I have never talked to anyone who was sorry they hired a professional to help deliver a great day…but I’ve heard several people say they wished they had.
Has anyone had an experience hiring a planner or a time when they wished they would have?

Planning long distance!
I am a bride-to-be that is planning from another state. Is it even possible to have something nice and elegant near Charlotte NC for 100-125 people with a 10,000 budget??? Since I am planning from afar I would prefer venues that do more of the work. Catering, decoration, setup/clean up. Does anyone know of places like this? Or have experience with this number of people/budget? I am finding that building and catering fees in this area are completely killing my budget. Suggestions are welcome

Need a Large Venue in a Few States
Need a venue/palace that can accommodate up to 1500-2000 people for a business concert. It will be a Mongolian suit and tie event. We will have singers and musicians. Need a dance floor. Need a dinner service (main course, salad, soup, desert) Open bar for about 2 and half hours, divided between the night. Also your venue can sell drinks during non-open bar time. Friends & family, good times and and letting loose. Parties are a means of celebration, a good party calls for people to come feeling comfortable enough to be who they are wo fear of judgement. most importantly, a good party is one that everyone present is honored and happy to be part of a birthday celebration for someone they love, someone the care very deeply for and someone they respect....someone other than themselves, In closing, I'd have to say a birthday party isnt a birthday party without the overwhelmig sense of love from both family and friends, not only seeing but feeling wanted and appreciated by all who know you. And most importatnly, knowledge, head and heart, this is where you belong and how very blessed you are to be YOU!!!! THE CELEBRATED BIRTHDAY BOY!!! Can you imagine a more loving, belonging and miraculous feeling than that? Your budget of $13k is definitely do-able for 210 guests. We are a full service event planning firm with over 25 venues in the metro Atlanta area, that has affordable all inclusive packages that begin at 5k for 100 guests. Our all inclusive packages include: the cost of the venue, decor, tables, chairs, linens, sashes(we have over 187 in house colors to choose from) fine china, silverware, grooms sheet cake, complimentary bridal suites, complimentary valet parking and a professional uniformed wait staff. Full service catering is also included. Our base package that is included in the all inclusive price includes: 1 salad, 1 appetizer, 1 meat entree, 1 pasta entree, 1 vegetable, 1 starch, unlimited dinner rolls with butter and unlimited sweet tea, fruit punch or lemonade. All of this will run you about 10-11k and you'll still have money left over our limited bar package. Granberry Hills "Best Venue Ever"
Hi All,

This may be a rarity, but I'm a husband posting to a site to say how wonderful a venue was. My wife and I reside in San Antonio, Texas and had a wedding of roughly 150 wild/joyful people. Granberry Hills provided a beautiful, friendly, picturesque venue for our ceremony and reception. The staff there went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure we had everything we wanted. Teresa is one of the managers there and she alone will knock your socks off with her dedication to customer service. I promise you will have a stress-free experience if you choose Granberry Hills.
