Judy Jones' Birthday Bash and Charity Event Leukemia & Lymphoma Awareness
My mother was diagnosed with leukemia in February 2010 and as such, I've become a staunch advocate in raising funds to fight this disease. I am proud to say that my Mom is doing magnificently well since her diagnosis and I am thankful for the multitude of prayers and positive life thoughts that so many of you have bestowed upon us. I am equally grateful for the assistance that the Georgia chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society have provided us in helping Mom with medical needs and our family with much needed support! In this vain, I am requesting your donations in any amount you can give to help fund the research and ultimately a cure for blood cancers. Additionally my charity event on December 3, 2011, seeks to bring emphasis and exposure to the very necessary cause of minorities and people of color becoming much more educated about the diseases of leukemia and lymphoma and the importance of becoming a bone marrow donor.
Please come out and celebrate my turning another page in my life and joining the AARP club at 50! But more importantly, please show your support in honor of my mom, my heroine and one of my great loves, by purchasing a ticket to my event. Giving to a great cause has a way of warming one's heart.
