What are leads?

Visitors to Eventective can turn into two types of leads.

Referrals are sent to you by people planning events who view your listing on Eventective and email you directly to inquire about booking your venue or service for their event.  These inquiries include complete details for the event, and are delivered to you at no cost.  Sign in to your ‘My Leads’ page using the link on the email to view the planner contact information.

We recommend you always respond to these inquiries as the planner has specifically inquired about doing business with your company.  Updating your listing with photos, description, packages and recommendations will better promote your services and entice more planners to contact you directly.

Competitive Leads are generated when brides, party planners and meeting professionals request their event inquiry be sent to venues and vendors for competitive bid. You receive these leads when you are opted in to the Pay-Per-Lead Program. Responding to internet leads requires an effort on the part of the event business to sell their venue or services and work the leads. The planners submitting the event requests may not get back to you. If you are expecting to close business with one email or phone call, these leads may not be for you.
