Management Team

Alan Hyman is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Eventective.
In 1989, Alan co-founded I-many, Inc. (NASDAQ: IMNY), globally recognized as one of the leading providers of contract and transaction compliance management solutions. As President of I-many, Inc., Alan led the company from a Massachusetts start-up to a multi-million dollar company that became Maine's largest publicly traded software company in 2000, acquiring a market cap of $800M. The company moved to Portland, Maine in 1991.

In 1998 Alan founded JobsInME.com, the Northeast's most successful career resource. Under the corporate banner of JobsIntheUS, the company has expanded into Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Rhode Island. In 2001 Alan founded 480 Digital, a Portland, Maine-based marketing and video and film production company. Alan served as executive producer of the New England Emmy Award nominated production "Portland Past" which has been shown frequently on Maine PBS. Alan is also an experienced restauranteur, having run a successful Cafe in Scarborough, ME.

Steve Robertson is our Chief Operating Officer.
For more than ten years, Steve served in various key roles for Maine-based I-Many, Inc., (NASDAQ: IMNY) the leading provider of enterprise contract management software. As Vice-President of Engineering at I-many, Inc., Steve was responsible for all aspects of the engineering organization and processes. He was also involved in the acquisition of several software companies as part of I-many's strategy to expand its contract management suite. Steve was a key member of the technology team that established JobsInME.com and is now working with the same team on Eventective.

Sabina Freedman is our Vice-President of Client Services.
Prior to Eventective, Sabina led the Internet Marketing team at Binax, a biotechnology company based in Portland, Maine. From 1994 till 2004, Sabina worked at Maine-based I-many, Inc. (NASDAQ:IMNY), the leading provider of enterprise contract management software, in several key roles from Client Service and Training, to Quality Assurance, Business Analysis and Project Management. As Director of Engineering at I-many, Inc., Sabina led the Program Management Office (PMO), where she coordinated software development and integration projects across the company for all in-house and outsourced teams. Prior to I-many, Inc., Sabina worked at Competence Assurance Systems, a consulting company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she collaborated with leading pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies to develop sales and marketing strategy for global product launches.

Sabina holds a BA from Smith College in Biology and International Relations and has completed graduate coursework in Biotechnology and Intellectual Property at the University of Massachusetts and the Franklin Pierce School of Law respectively.

Prior to I-many, Inc., Alan worked as an independent Systems Consultant for 8 years. He also worked for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Company, McDonnell Douglas Automation Company and John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company.

Joseph Paster, FSA, CLU, recently retired as Senior Vice President of John Hancock Financial Services. Joe joined John Hancock in June 1967 and during his 37-year career he held several senior positions in product development, service, project management and marketing in both the Retail and Institutional sectors. He is currently Senior Vice President and CFO of John Hancock Signature Services, John Hancock's service subsidiary with over 1,200 employeesand an annual budget over $150M.

Some of his former positions include Vice President and Actuary of Retail Product Development and Pricing for all life and annuity products; Vice President of Managed Care and Group Marketing; Chief Financial Officer of Group Special Services; and heading up strategic planning in Retail Marketing, including development of the Company's overall Retail service strategy. With the recent merger of John Hancock and Manulife Financial, Joe has assumed responsibility for several key integration projects. Joe was a trustee on the board of a mutual fund company where he chaired the Audit Committee. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Chartered Life Underwriter. Joe is currently Secretary of the Board of Directors of CYMRI, Inc (formerly JobsInTheUS.com).

Mark C. Tilly is the President and founder of the Neuropathic Pain Research Institute, a non-profit medical research organization. He is a board member of the technology firms JobsInTheUS.com, Interspec and Technology Exchange LLC. He is also a consultant to several startup software and technology businesses.

Along with Alan Hyman, Mark is the co-founder of I-many, Inc (NASDAQ: IMNY). I-many provides contract and transaction compliance solutions across 21 industries allowing businesses to negotiate and manage complex contract purchasing arrangements facilitating B2B e-commerce. Mark served as an executive and board member of I-many, Inc. from its founding in 1989 through 2000. Prior to I-many, Inc., Mark was a principal consultant with American Management Systems for three years and a senior consultant with Touche, Ross and Co. for three years. He also held software development positions with Citibank and Computer Era Corp, both in New York City.

Mark received a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California at Davis.
