Since 1977, Old Pine Community Center has enriched the lives of our neighbors through dynamic programs and services focused on children & families, food insecurity, and community engagement. OPCC is also available to rent for private parties, special events, sports leagues, and community meetings.
Afterschool Registration
Old Pine Community Center's Afterschool Program children will be picked up at General George A. McCall, William M. Meredith, and George W. Nebinger elementary schools by our counselors immediately after school dismisses and safely escorted to OPCC. Interested families enrolled in other schools or homeschooled students may be dropped off by a guardian at OPCC by 3:30pm.
Students will have dedicated homework help, snacks, and fun activities until their pick-up time, which is no later than 6:00pm.
Summer in the City
Old Pine Community Center's Summer in the City program combines traditional summer camp activities and fun with unique Philadelphia experiences and field trips. Daily activities will include recreation in our gym, visits to local parks, and programs led by our staff as well as outside facilitators in music, art, and games. Each week will also include a field trip to a Philadelphia landmark at no additional cost.
Registration for Summer in the City 2024 will open in early March. Financial assistance is available for qualifying families.
