THAI INSPIRATION

When Thara and Dottie Burana founded the restaurant in 2002, they aimed to offer authentic Thai food in a distinctive setting. Previously, Thara and Dottie Burana struggled to find good Thai food in the Memphis area besides their own home-cooked meals. They often entertained friends and family with Thara's culinary skills at home or friends' houses. During soccer trips with their sons, Greg and Brett, they always made it a point to dine at Thai restaurants in each town or city.

Ed and Brittany continue their mission by ensuring an authentic cultural experience. At Bangkok Alley, our sushi chefs skillfully combine fresh ingredients and creativity to provide an exceptional sushi and Thai experience.
