 The Heritage Hotel is located in the community of Norman Wells, at the edge of Arctic Circle. On the north bank of the Mackenzie River nestling in a valley between the Mackenzie and Franklin Mountain Ranges, Norman Wells prospered in the early 1900's with the development of an oilfield. Today we continue to host our newest breed of adventurers in search of new oil reserves, precious and non-precious metals ,as well as gem stones. Not hidden from view, but rarely taken full advantage of is the natural beauty of the Sahtu Region in which we live. Ideal for “Adventure Seekers”. The Heritage Hotel provides accommodation at the terminus of the 400 km Canol Heritage Trail, "Are You Game".
