Visit Us

The Rocky Museum showcases the history of the pioneers who homesteaded in this area, worked in the lumber camps and sawmills, and sent their children to one-room schoolhouses.

"Step into the past!" with your family. Listen to a song played on our 1917 Amherst player piano. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in our Pioneer Park.

Our Exhibits

Inside the Rocky Museum, check out the Killico General Store - no frozen pizzas sold there- and the Coles Brand boards.

Our exhibits include the Meadows Forestry cabin, which is one hundred years old, and the Glacier School house. Have a seat in one of the school desks, and imagine yourself travelling back in time to the days when students walked to school carrying lunch pails, and sat two to a seat on really cold days.
