The Wilderness Lodge and Hot Springs
Gila Cliff Dwellings, just 4 miles from The Wilderness Lodge!

Please Note:
WE ARE NO LONGER RENTING INDIVIDUAL ROOMS. WE ARE ONLY DOING WHOLE LODGE RENTALS.

We have been running the Wilderness Lodge as a Ma & Pa business for 19 years now, seven days a week, and we have had a great time - meeting many interesting people, providing a haven for travelers from all over the world. However, we have decided that we now want to have more free time to spend with our family and work on other projects. If you've been coming to the Wilderness Lodge for years, you love the place, and you want to keep enjoying the quiet, the hotsprings - well, bring some friends and rent the whole lodge!

Our hot pools are great for a relaxing soak.

From your doorstep at the Lodge, travel back more than 1,000 years with a visit to the Gila Cliff Dwellings.

Stone walls and stairways mark the homes of the families who made these cliffs their homes for just a few generations — and then mysteriously left them and moved on.

Or plunge into the Gila Wilderness and Gila National Forest, providing millions of acres and hundreds of miles of trails to explore.

Enjoy the simple comforts of home in the Gila Wilderness
Our 100-year-old Lodge was originally a school house in Hurley, New Mexico. In the 1960's, a man named Coy Rasberry single-handedly dismantled and moved it to Gila Hot Springs.

Nowadays, you can enjoy the rustic charm of this old school house as a unique Bed & Breakfast. Wake up to the smell of fresh coffee brewing and breads baking. Take a relaxing soak in one of our hot pools, fed from the nearby hot springs.

Accommodations include a two-bedroom suite with a private bath on the first floor. Upstairs bedrooms share a bath. There are also two large rooms suitable for meetings and workshops.
