About Us
We're Danny and Jill Fager, owners and operators of Cabin on the Hill. We welcome you to our slice of heaven and hope that you experience the same enjoyment and contentment that we do every day. We live and work on the 80 acres that Cabin on the Hill is located on. Feel free to explore our 40 acre forest which offers a great walking trail and creek. Make time to visit our hobby farm with a variety of animals and fowl. Don't be surprised if one of our beautiful peacocks shows up on your front porch. Our two cabins are clean, comfortable and private. You'll have everything you need to make your get-away as relaxing and stress free as possible. Even though we are in the country we are still just a short drive to all the diverse events and activities our area has to offer. Not only are there many outdoor activities near by, there are numerous wineries, orchards, festivals and cultural events to enjoy. You won't have to drive miles and miles to experience all of the fun and wonderful things Southern Illinois has to offer.

CABINS & RATES
Valley View Cabin
​
This cabin offer 830 square feet of comfortable living space and has a maximum occupancy of four. The cabin has a great room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom on the main floor and a loft bedroom. Each bedroom has a queen bed. It also has a large front porch with rockers and a porch swing and a screened in back porch with it's own private hot tub. We do allow pets in Valley View Cabin and charge a $20 per night pet fee.

Friday & Saturday - $390.00 for the weekend (Fri. & Sat. must be booked together) plus tax
Sunday thru Thursday - $160.00 per night plus tax
Rent 3 to 5 consecutive week nights for $150.00 per night (this rate is not valid with other specials)
Weekly Rate (7 nights) - $1,040.00 plus tax

One Night Rental Policy: We only do one night rentals if there is just one day open between prior rentals or right before or right after a prior rental. No one night rentals on the weekends. One couple only for one night rentals. Payment due in full at time of reservation for one night rentals.
Reservations for 2 nights requires a $100 deposit. The balance due will be charged to your credit card when you arrive unless other arrangements have been made.
Reservations for 3 or more days requires 50% of rental amount.
Price does not include 6% State Tax and 5% County Lodging Tax.

Fri., Sat. and Sun. over Memorial Day Weekend
Fri., Sat. and Sun. over Labor Day Weekend
Fri., Sat. and Sun. over Columbus Day Weekend
Thanksgiving eve and Thanksgiving day
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

The Red Cottage
This cabin offers a comfortable and unique lodging experience. Located near our Hobby Farm, you’ll be able to watch the farm activity from your screened in back porch or the large deck. The Red Cottage has 750 square feet of living space and sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and one bath. Both bedrooms have queen beds. The living area offers a comfortable couch and recliner and satalite TV. A spacious kitchen and dining room area along with a huge screened in porch with private hot tub and large outdoor deck with comfortable deck furniture and a gas fire pit add to the comfort of the this cabin. There is also an outdoor fire pit with firewood for those who like campfires.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations must be made 21 days prior to the reservation date or you will be responsible for the full amount due.
Cancellations made prior to cut off date are subject to a $10.00 cancellation fee.
Check-In/ Check-Out Time
Check in time is 3:00 p.m. Check out Time is 11:00 a.m.
Payment Options:
We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. You must have a valid credit card account to make a reservation.
Regulations
Four people maximum. No smoking in the cabins please! We only allow pets in the Valley View.
Must be 21 years or older to rent the cabin.
Other Information:
Cabin on the Hill is available for rental all year long. Make reservations on line. We will call you to confirm and arrange payment.
