Biggest Waste Ever: The Huge Money Spent on Hollywood Weddings and Other Parties
Posted by admin under Parties, Weddings
While most people would spend a good portion of their savings on a wedding (which makes sense if you’re a middle class American), the rich and famous choose to spend the same portion of money on their weddings. This decision, in some cases, can be well over a million dollars. Here are ten of the most ridiculously expensive weddings and other events people pay for:
- Nicole
Event: Sweet Sixteen
Location: San Francisco, CA

Nicole lives in both Hawaii and San Francisco and is obsessed with Christian Dior. Because of her obsession, she and her family decided to throw a French themed super sweet sixteen. The super sweet sixteen was outfitted with dancers that performed as though they had been with Cirque Du Soleil and rapper Keak da Sneak.Nicole was also undeservingly awarded a brand new white BMW.And the cost of this super sweet sixteen? $200,000.00.This event was filmed by MTV’s hit show Super Sweet Sixteen

Pimped Out Mega-Yachts
Posted by jessie under Parties, Romance
In the world of the super-rich, one of the ultimate status symbols is to own your very own private luxury yacht. Like a floating mansion, a mega-yacht or super-yacht is the biggest, most luxurious and pimped-out vessel that money can buy. Complete with pools, gyms, helicopters and more, these yachts take their billionaire owners and their guests to some of the most beautiful and exclusive places in the world, in style.
Totally pimped-out mega-yachts do not come cheap. Some cost into the hundreds of millions to build, and millions more every year just to operate! That being said, their owners certainly get what they pay for—luxury, style, status, and a selection of high-end toys that range from basketball courts to submarines and more, for the ultimate in pimped-out rides.

World’s Craziest Roller Coasters
Posted by jessie under Amusement, Parties
Roller coasters have long been a huge draw for thrill seekers everywhere. Nothing quite says “being alive” like testing fate on a speeding bullet, dipping and spinning around a steel cage of death. White knuckled, heart racing, screaming until the ride comes to an end and you laughed the words… one more time!
If you’re looking for one of the wildest and craziest roller coasters rides around, then look no more. We have gathered the best of the best for thrill seeking roller coaster junkies.
1. Superman: Ride of Steel
At a height of nearly 21 stories, “Superman: Ride of Steel” is the world’s top-rated coaster. This steel sit-down mega-coaster sits along the banks of the Connecticut River at Six Flags New England in Springfield, Massachusetts.
With a 221 foot drop, Superman reaches a top speed of 77 miles per hour and delivers a lot of airtime (that funny feeling of weightlessness as the coaster goes over a hill), making it a favorite of coaster enthusiasts.
There is an identical coaster at Darien Lake in New York.
Superman: Ride of Steel has won the Golden Ticket Award for “Best Steel Coaster” from Amusement Today.
In 2004, a man suffered fatal injuries when he was thrown from the ride.
