The Importance of an Impressive Listing

The Customer Buying Cycle

Read David Skok’s excellent article Understanding the Customer Buying Cycle & Triggers and consider where Eventective leads fall in the buying cycle.

For venues, most users are in the Consideration phase – they need a venue for their event.  Whereas for vendors, most users are in the Awareness phase – they have just realized they might need a Caterer or a DJ to make the event really special.

Take these factors into account when you try to sell your services to Eventective visitors.  Many of our vendor leads need more nurturing than our venue leads.  However, by reaching these customers early in their selection process, vendors have the ability to impress these buyers and build trust — trust leads to sales.

The Lead Digest

It may have been several months since you received a lead email from Eventective.  That doesn’t mean Eventective users aren’t looking for your services — we’ve received almost 150,000 requests so far in 2012.

Chances are, even if you are not receiving leads via email, that you have several leads in your My Leads inbox on Eventective right now.

Starting this month, if you do not receive lead emails, Eventective is sending out a Lead Digest message that summarizes the number of leads you have in your My Leads list.
