Product Tips

Save on Lead Purchases

Eventective offers two ways to save money when buying competitive leads.  Pre-Pay Lead Credit – bonus credit up to 30% when you pay for leads up-front.  Subscriber Discount – when you sign up for one of our Annual Subscriptions, you’ll enjoy a 20% discount on every lead purchase.

Combine both discounts for maximum savings.  See how you can get leads for as low as $1.54 each.

Holiday Planning Season

Holiday party planning is in full swing.  Corporate party planning on Eventective doubled in September, compared to the prior month.  And 74% of the Corporate Party requests we received last month are for events during the year-end holidays.

Sign up today for one of our Subscription Plans or our Pay-Per-Click product, EventClicks, and celebrate the holidays with bookings!

The Importance of an Impressive Listing

If you participate in our Pay-Per-Lead program, or even if you opted to only receive Free Direct Leads from Eventective, you need to know that a good-looking listing is important.  When you purchase a lead on Eventective, or when a planner chooses to contact you directly, the planner is provided a link to your listing.

The first stop any Eventective user will make when deciding whether to further engage with you is your Eventective listing.  And if your listing does not impress, that could be the end of your relationship.

Read our tips on how to impress planners with your listing and update your listing today!

The Customer Buying Cycle

Read David Skok’s excellent article Understanding the Customer Buying Cycle & Triggers and consider where Eventective leads fall in the buying cycle.

For venues, most users are in the Consideration phase – they need a venue for their event.  Whereas for vendors, most users are in the Awareness phase – they have just realized they might need a Caterer or a DJ to make the event really special.

Take these factors into account when you try to sell your services to Eventective visitors.  Many of our vendor leads need more nurturing than our venue leads.  However, by reaching these customers early in their selection process, vendors have the ability to impress these buyers and build trust — trust leads to sales.

What's New

The Lead Digest

It may have been several months since you received a lead email from Eventective.  That doesn’t mean Eventective users aren’t looking for your services — we’ve received almost 150,000 requests so far in 2012.

Chances are, even if you are not receiving leads via email, that you have several leads in your My Leads inbox on Eventective right now.

Starting this month, if you do not receive lead emails, Eventective is sending out a Lead Digest message that summarizes the number of leads you have in your My Leads list.

Take a look and see whose business you might be missing out on.

Testimonials

Our company advertises with Eventective (we have an Enhanced Listing) and we use their pay-per-lead program.  Out of all of the lead generating websites that we pay for, Eventective has the highest number of relevant, quality business and social leads for our venue.

The screening process is solid, and the amount of information provided to us before we purchase a lead is much greater than other websites. Eventective has provided a very solid ROI for our company and we love using it.
