What's New

Romance is in the Air

As an Event Professional, you already know about the fickle nature of the events business.  Summertime weddings and Holiday events keep you busy most of the year, but the late winter months can feel lonely.  Planner activity is cyclical too — driven mainly by the more than 2 million engagements that happen every year — mostly around the holidays.  Approximately 10% of those will occur this month, on Valentine’s Day.

Customers Will Fall for You

Now is the time to make your listing, and your business, more attractive to the 1 million planners coming to Eventective monthly.  Login and update your listing with current photos and descriptions of your services.  Add packages to court planners whose budgets meet your price points, or create off-peak deals to fill those lonely spots on your calendar.  We’d love you to make the most of Eventective to woo new customers.

Product Tips

Check Your Stats

Much like the dashboard of your car, your Eventective listing can tell you how it is performing.  Check out your listing’s Performance Report to see how well Eventective is working for you.  Look for the Performance Report link at the bottom of your Edit Listing page.  The Performance Report will tell you how many Eventective users have viewed your listing, visited your web page and sent you leads in any number of time periods.  Select from a variety of date ranges including Last Week, Last Month, Last Year, or enter a custom date range.

Package Performance

Similarly, we offer the Package Performance Report to measure the effectiveness of your packages.  Follow the Performance Report link next to each of your packages on the My Packages page.

Creating Value Through Marketing

Marketing is a means of creating value for your customers.  Traditionally, marketers have differentiated themselves by offering affordable quality that is easy to find and use.  Contemporary marketers engage customers online and deliver products and services instantly.

Online marketing combines these approaches and engages internet savvy consumers to advocate for you.  Once you realize that the difference between your cost to deliver goods and services and the perceived value of those same goods and services is where your profit comes from, you will see the value of marketing.

Thank You for Feeding America

Thanks to our concerned users, Eventective collected over 600 recommendations this past holiday season.  We donated $1 to Feeding America for each of those recommendations.  This means that together, we provided nearly 4,900 meals to needy families.  Thanks!
