Designed by the prominent Milw.architect A. Eschweiler as a house-museum, this 1911 mansion of Charles and Sarah Allis features an art collection which spans 2000 yrs.including original furnishings and an outdoor garden area. The mission of Charles Allis Art Museum is to fully utilize the collection for education and community enrichment. As part of the Milwaukee County War Memorial Corp., the Museum honors the war dead by serving as “living memorials.”Rented for ceremonies, receptions and other special events.
