One must consider the entire evening when planning their wedding. Monona Terrace makes the most of the entire day. We found them accomodating to all of our needs. We had a beautiful ceremony right on the water and then enjoyed the excellent reception in a room with a view. The ceremony space was outdoors on the deck overlooking the lake. We were able to have all of the oral and musical accompniants that we requested for our service. Theceremony evening was enhanced by the location of the reception, right downstairs! Noone had to drive, let alone walk from the cocktail hour held outside directly following our service. Then the entire reception was facilitated by their excellent staff. We had a great band on a stage that was all arranged by the Terrace. There is certainly a benefit to having your service and reception at the same place. We enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere of this full-service venue. One doesn't need to worry about much with such a professional operation like the one found at the Monona Terrace
Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center is a Frank Lloyd Wright designed building overlooking beautiful Lake Monona. It offers multiple use spaces, including ballrooms, meeting rooms, exhibition hall and lecture hall, all with state of the art audio/visual equipment. It's magnificent rooftop garden, complete with sparkling water fountain offers spectacular views of Lake Monona and the State Capitol and provides a perfect setting for photograph sessions. In addition, they provide award-winning in-house catering, allowing complete customization of menus. They will even create menus to reflect your unique ethnic background or favorite recipes. Special attention is paid to presentation and banquet tables are decorated with fresh flowers and draped linens. Meals are served by uniformed and highly trained attendants. Catering and event coordinators are experienced and professional, working to ensure that every detail of your event is attended to, gong the extra mile to accommodate special requests. Nothing here is out of the box...the client calls the shots all the way and staff will go overboard to make it happen. This is a first rate facility with dedicated staff and the sincere desire to be the best in every way, evidenced further by their achievement of green building certification.
This is the most beautiful setting in Madison, Wisconsin. They have an amazing outdoor setup that is beautifully lit at night. There are water fountains and a stage for a band. It's very big and large wedding parties are easily can fit in this venue. It is by far the best venue in a 50 mile radius.
